HARDWAREINSTALLATION

DRIVER INSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PCs, we can give you only a general installation ’

guide for the EX12294HMS. Please refer your computers reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1.--Install the EX12294HMS on a mounting rail by using the DINRail Kit or on the wall using

the Wall Mounting Brackets.

2.Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Upstream CPort at the EX--

12294HMS.

3.Now connect the power connector of the power supply to the DCConnector or connect an -

optionally available DIN-Rail power supply to the Terminal Block of the hub and insert the

power plug of the power supply into an electrical outlet.

4.--Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 cable (CPlug) to the USB CPort at

your PC.

All Operating Systems

After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX12294HMS -

automatically and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USBController-“the following new entry:

If you see this or a similar information the hub is installed correctly.

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX12294HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Metall HUB für bis -

zu vier Endgeräte, der an der Wand oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert werden kann. Er ist ein

reiner USBC HUB für vier Endgeräte und gewährleistet eine sichere Datenübertragung und -

eine exzellente Performance von bis zu 10Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps). Zusätzlich ist der

EX-12294HMS mit einem 15KV ESD Überspannungsschutz ausgestattet. Über das externe

Netzteil können an jedem Port bis zu 3A zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht das

problemlose Laden von iPhone, iPad, Smartphone und Tablet.

Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil oder ein optional erhältliches

DINRail Netzteil (SelfPower).--
