accordance with the instructions provided. Failure to do
so could result in personal injury, damage to your vessel
and/or poor product performance.
⚠WARNING: Performing service or maintenance
without rst disconnecting the battery can cause product
damage, personal injury, or death due to re, explosion,
electrical shock, or unexpected motor starting. Always
disconnect the battery cables from the battery before
maintaining, servicing, installing, or removing motor
components.
In the box
• 1x port-side cradle
• 1x starboard-side cradle
• 12x 1/4-20 x 7/16 hex screws
Tools needed
• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• 4 mm (5/32 in) Allen key
• Torque wrench
Installation
To remove the existing port and starboard side cradles:
1 Disconnect the trolling motor power cable from the
battery (or unplug the power cable if using a plug and
receptacle).
2 Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the side plate
screws on both sides of the mount ( ). A
¼Note: The screws are retained by washers.

3 Remove the side plates, taking care not to damage the
locating tabs as they leave their slots ( ).B
4 Press the stow/deploy release lever and slide the lower
unit off the cradle, while keeping the transmission in the
stowed position. Allow the lower unit to rotate so it rests
in the vertical orientation.
5 Using a 4 mm (5/32 in) Allen key, remove the four 1/4-
20 x 7/16 hex screws from the underside of each cradle.
6 Using a 4 mm (5/32 in) Allen key (or ratchet with 5/32
Allen bit), remove the two hex screws ( ) 1/4-20 x 7/16 C
from the side of each cradle.
7 Remove the cradles from the mount.
To attach the new port and starboard side cradles:
8 Place the port-side cradle (marked P) and starboard-side
cradle (marked S) onto the mount.
¼Note: The new cradle hardware includes pre-applied
thread lock. Do not use old hardware.
9 Install four new screws (supplied) on 1/4-20 x 7/16 hex
the underside of each cradle. Tighten to torque 2.71 Nm
(24 in-lb).
10 Install two new screws (supplied) on 1/4-20 x 7/16 hex
the side of each cradle. Tighten to torque 2.71 Nm
(24 in-lb).
11 Return the lower unit to its stowed position in the cradle.
12 Install the side plates back onto the mount, aligning the
locating tabs and positioning the port side around the
strain relief.
13 Re-fasten the side plate screws and tighten to torque
1.69 Nm (15 in-lb).
