damage, personal injury, or death due to re, explosion,

electrical shock, or unexpected motor starting. Always

disconnect the battery cables from the battery before

maintaining, servicing, installing, or removing motor

components.

In the box

•1x port-side cradle

•1x starboard-side cradle

•12x 1/4-20 x 7/16 hex screws

Tools needed

•#2 Phillips screwdriver

•4 mm (5/32 in) Allen key

•Torque wrench

Installation

To remove the existing port and starboard side cradles:

1 Disconnect the trolling motor power cable from the

battery (or unplug the power cable if using a plug and

receptacle).

2 Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the side plate

screws on both sides of the mount (). A

3 Remove the side plates, taking care not to damage the

locating tabs as they leave their slots ().B

4 Press the stow/deploy release lever and slide the lower

unit off the cradle, while keeping the transmission in the

stowed position. Allow the lower unit to rotate so it rests

in the vertical orientation.

5 Using a 4 mm (5/32 in) Allen key, remove the four 1/4-

20 x 7/16 hex screws from the underside of each cradle.

6 Using a 4 mm (5/32 in) Allen key (or ratchet with 5/32

Allen bit), remove the two hex screws () 1/4-20 x 7/16C

from the side of each cradle.
